Drake’s recent music chart record breaking has landed him in the media spotlight over the past week.

He released God’s Plan, which broke Apple Music’s first day  streaming record with 14 million plays, and Spotify’s single-day streaming record with 4,326,679 streams.

But it was the second song on his Scary Hours E.P that broke his most impressive record to date.

With “Diplomatic Immunity” making it to the Top 10, Drake has officially tied legendary British rock band The Beatles  with having the most amount of top 10 billboard hits in a decade.

How many does he have?

Believe it or not- Drizzy has 20. Our boy Drake is a hit making MACHINE!

The craziest part? Drake still has TWO more years left in this current decade to beat the Beatles. Unless he dies for some mysterious reason ( probably being murdered by Sir Paul McCartney out of jealousy) it seems like a sure bet that he’ll break their record.

Drake seems to be just as shocked as we are at his recent record breaking. He shared an instagram post poking fun at an early version of himself.

In the post he shares his first press kit- in which he bragged about things that today- seem like small fry accomplishments in the context of his vastly successful career.

This was my first press kit… my accolades in an attempt to get signed were 30 registered fan clubs, over 800 topics on message boards, and performing at Chris Bosh private bday party”.

For those who don’t know, Chris Bosh is a basketball player who used to play for the Toronto Raptors. Of course there’s many aspiring musicians who read that and think-

“damn, those sound like accomplishments to me!”

“I’m over here trying to convince fucking Chuck E. Cheeses to give me a chance to drop my  mixtape. Forget performing for NBA ballers, I’m trying to get out of venue’s that don’t  have ball pits in them!

Maybe if they study Drake’s path to success, they will find a way. Better start working on those acting chops.
