2017 has started off with a hot challenge for us to witness. Yes, we are talking about the latest challenge Lil Uzi Vert has given Lil Yatchy. Lil Uzi has challenged Lil Yatchy to release an album to destroy his effort. The online brawl started recently when the rapper shared some of his upcoming music through snippets on Instagram.
Lil Yatchy then left a critique on his snippets by posting a comment “Sound hard but don’t sound harder than that Yachty.” Apparently, this did not go too well with Uzi and he responded to the comment by posting, “Put out your album so I can destroy that shit with mine. And don’t rap threw [sic] your nose on this one.” To this Yatchy replied “Sounds like a challenge.”
Yatchy is already working on his debut album and he recently revealed the title to MTV. His debut effort is named ‘Teenage Emotions.’ In the same interview he said, “My fans are so loyal and dedicated that I don’t care that much about winning people over, but I know it’s gonna change and people will eventually give my shit a chance, bro.” He added, “That’s why I’m working so hard on this album, not to please other people but I’m just really trying, bro, to show people that like, I’m not just fucking bad!”
Uzi vert is working on his mixtape called Luv is Rage 2. He has been actively sharing snippets from the tape on his social media. Not just this, he is also working on a sequel to his mixtape The Perfect Luv Tape.
Both the rappers are new on the scene and have a long way ahead of them. They are busy releasing mixtapes and Yatchy is even close to releasing a full fledge album. They are both pretty active on social media and seems like most rap feuds originate in those forums only.
This challenge should be good news to their followers as now they will very soon hear some fresh material from them. Yatchy is pretty busy but with his debut effort should be able to get back to Uzi. He recently was assigned as the Creative designer for Nautica brand. So he has a lot on his plate already. But he readily accepted the challenge which lines up well with the release of Teenage Emotions.
Only the sales and critics would decide who wins this challenge. Both the rappers are talented in their own way and have a strong following on social media.
