Back in October of 2016, rapper Chief Keef announced that he is going to come back to rap in 2017. The rapper famous for his song ‘I don’t like’ then released a mixtape on New Year’ Eve called Two Zero One Seven. Now he has announced that he will be releasing three more mixtapes this year alone. This is all part of his effort to make a big comeback to the rap industry and give his audience a lot of fresh material to listen.

He made the announcement through his Instagram account where he announced the release data of the first mixtape which is titled Thot Breaker. It will be released to public on Valentine ’s Day and rightfully so has a romantic title. It would not be wrong to say it is his valentine gift for his listeners. But that is not all as two other projects are on the way. The other two mixtapes should be out by the end of March too. These are titled The Dedication and Mansion Music.

If his release on New Year’s Eve was anything to go by, we could be expecting a lot of original material on the upcoming releases of the rapper. That tape has several self-produced tracks that went well with his fans. The 21 year old rapper from Chicago said in an interview that he has worked with 21 Savage on a track that will come out soon. He also noted that he is working with Little Yatchy as well.

Three mixtapes in a span of three months only is a big thing for an artist this young. It goes to show that he is putting his everything in bringing his music to the world. Who know what more he will release by the end of the year? Whatever it is his followers are eager to check it out.

This year is going to start off quite busy for him as he is also going on a tour through America at the end of this month. It makes sense to align the releases with the tour so as to promote them simultaneously. His current project Two Zero One Seven can be streamed here. Most of the tracks have been produced by Chief Keef himself while others are produced by Lex Luger.

It is his first big project after Bang 3 which was released on iTunes back in August 2015. His fans have since been waiting for something original from him and these mixtapes are a little taste of that. Regarded by many as the best rapper in Illinois, he has got quality rap music in store for such ardent fans.
