It’s no secret that 2017 has been a great year for Migos. With this year’s hit single “Bad and Boujee” going quadruple platinum, and Culture debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200, money hasn’t exactly been a problem. Combined, the group has a net worth of roughly 9 million dollars.
And when money ain’t a thing- Christmas presents start to get epic. Quavo and Takeoff bought Quavo’s mom a freaking house!
Complete with a two car garage and at least 3 stories, we think there should be plenty of living space for 1 person.
Not to be outdone by her boy, Quavo’s mom got him a golf cart for Christmas.
Quavo was so stoked that he took a video to show off his new present to his fans.
“Thanks, Mom….. I got you the crib, you got me this… the cart”.
But not just any golf cart. You think rappers receive normal people golf carts for Christmas? Hell Naw. This thing has dope rims and fucking stereo system.
Quavo takes a spin with his ma and bumps “Saint Laurent Mask”. We get the feeling the neighbors are going to be hearing a lot of Migos tracks in the near future.
So, apparently, this golf cart costs 50k.
Honestly, we’re doubtful the thing is that expensive- as are some fans.
Fifty fucking thousand dollars for a machine that carries your golf clubs? For that price, it better serve up a glass of champagne and blow you after every round.
Many fans are a little confused at why Quavo is acting like his mom got him this expensive ass golf cart.
I mean let’s be real, that’s clearly Quavo’s music money. You mean to tell us she couldn’t afford to purchase her own house, but had the finances to purchase her son a souped-up Rolls Royce golf cart?!
But look- we get it.
Quavo’s just trying to be appreciative of the woman who gave him life, raised his ass, and made becoming a trap superstar even possible to begin with.
At the end of the day, that’s what Christmas is all about. Giving back to other people when you’re in the position to do so, and being thankful for the things you have ( even when you buy those things yourself).
Wait a second, I think Quavo just used a 50k golf cart to teach us a lesson about being grateful. That’s some type Aesop Fable type shit.
Regardless, Merry Christmas everyone.
